These are two of the things that our children love more than most others. They got to go into the cockpit of an airplane and swimming within a day of one another. I’m pretty sure they were in heaven. Plus, I got to go in the cockpit as well, which is pretty cool.

One morning while Mama was out of town for her Mother’s death, Isabelle was missing her. She wanted to wear one of Mama’s shirts. It was a wonderful way to connect.

Our children love tinker toys. They want to construct the tallest towers and the biggest bases. They are quite good at it, actually.

This is the first time that both of my brothers and their fiances stayed at our house at the same time. Add my grandmother and my parents and we have a full fledged family reunion. It was wonderful to see everyone under one roof, even if we did have to play music beds a bit.

Isabelle has loved trains since she was very small. The lightrail is the closest we have gotten (if you don’t count Thomas the train). She loved it.
