Chatfield Park with Thomas’ Family
Another great day spent with the Thomas’s family. We went to Chatfield park with the hopes of attending the Colorado balloon (as in hot air balloon) festival. Isabelle was sooo excited; however, when we got there they were packing up to go (and it was only 9:45am)…we were pretty bummed, BUT we ended up finding this great playground. The girls, Isabelle and Bella, were having lots of fun running around–they really enjoyed the little kiddo rock climbing wall. Afterwards we went for lunch at Panera, which was awesome, but highly comical–4 adults and 4 kids under 2 make for an interesting lunch out. At one point, Kady and I were both nursing our sons while Isabelle and Bella were sharing toys and Ben and Mason were ordering our food. And for the second time, a stranger asked if Kady and I were sisters….it’s too funny.

Ben and Kara, Hot air balloons usually launch between 6 – 8 am when the winds aloft are the most still. Sorry you had no clue. The other time of day is between 5 and 6pm at least for launches around here.
