Pirate’s Cove with Thomas’ Family

Kady, Bella, Mason, Isabelle, Ben and I all went to Pirate’s Cove, which is this really great small water park that is very close to our house.  They have lots of fun water play activities for kids, but most importantly, they had a giant pool that Kady and I could not wait to get in.  There is nothing better than being in water when you feel like a whale (coincidence?).   It was really hot out and Isabelle wanted to swim with her goldfish (the kind you eat)…so that was a bit of a challenge.  Ben and Mason took off for awhile and went down the water slides–Kady and I were pretty positive that we would get stuck in the tube!  When they came back, Kady and I went in the floaty circle pool–you get in an intertube and go around in a circle.  Let’s just say it was a bit comical the two of us trying to get into the intertubes–but after a few attempts, some roll overs and laughs, we finally got comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.  It was a great day!
