Although we did take part in a 4d ultrasound with Isabelle, it wasn’t quite the same this time around. With Isabelle we were really nervous. It had been such a rough pregnancy and we didn’t know if everything was going to be okay in the end. We watched the ultrasound as just Kara and Ben, the anticipation of our first child building with every progressive picture taken.

This time, however, was different. Ben and Mandy Counter were with us, and Isabelle and Stella obviously joined in. My Father and Mother watched live online from Turkey (yeah, pretty crazy at 2:00 am). And we didn’t want to know about the gender (although, the technician did tell us a few stories to try and convince us otherwise. 

I have to say that this was an amazing experience. Our new baby looks so much different, or maybe we are just seeing him/her different. I can’t wait to love this one as much as Isabelle, our new peanut is already just as beautiful.
